Members have opportunities to speak at events, contribute to discussions, and engage with stakeholders to promote sector growth. - Click-to-contact – contact any member at any time just by clicking a button.
- Consultancy – for project-based work members can access SLA consultancy services on a paid basis, availing of carefully constructed teams of SLA members. Members can offer their services as consultants through the SLA consultancy.
- Content – members can view and download significant quantities of member and non-member generated content at their leisure.
- Directory – The member directory will be available to non-members, but members will have access to deeper information on each.
- Documents – the SLA member zone will house many documents on a wide range of subjects.
- Events – there will be a wide range of on and offline events that are specifically for members, as well as some that accessible by all but with preferential rates for members, where charged.
- Media opportunities – SLA will be advocating widely in the media for the ‘Sport for Community Good’ sector. This will generate media opportunities for SLA members.
- Mentor programme – participate in the SLA Mentor Programme, where mentors with relevant experience help to support members on specific initiatives by offering time, advice, and connections.
- News archive – access a fully searchable archive of news articles from the SLA news section.
- Offers – benefit from exclusive discounts and other offers from relevant product and service suppliers, as well as on paid for products and services from SLA itself.
- Project listings – view current and previous projects from participating members via an easy-to-use ‘project search’.
- Research – gain access to and participate in SLA research projects and view research papers and results from the wider ‘Sport for Community Good’ sector.
- Social media – gain coverage for your organisation through SLA social media channels, including Twitter, You Tube, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Speaking opportunities – members will get the chance to speak across a wide range of SLA on and offline events.
- Toolkits – there will be a wide range of toolkits available for members covering subjects from fundraising to marketing and from legislation to volunteer management. Checklists, how to guides, documents and more will be included in these toolkits, produced by industry experts.
- Webinars – webinars will be available to members on a wide range of subjects and topics.
- White papers – members will be invited to access and contribute to white papers on many subjects relevant to the ‘Sport for Community Good’ sector.
- Workshops – workshops will take place on a regular basis to help shape the direction and priorities of SLA. Members will be encouraged to join in and help make their industry body as effective and useful as it can be.
