Sports Bank – Sport Local Action
LET EVERY YOUNG
PERSON PLAY

Cost should never be the reason a young person misses out on sport.
Sports Bank removes the financial barriers – kit, subs, equipment, participation costs – so every child gets their chance.

The Sports Bank Vision

What is sports bank

Not a kit bank.
National infrastructure.

Sports Bank is a facilitator and broker – connecting funding, equipment and services directly to the clubs and schools that know where support is needed.

The problem isn’t a lack of generosity. It’s a lack of infrastructure to connect that generosity to where it’s needed most. We’re building that infrastructure – starting in Merton, scaling nationally.

We’ve already taken 100 children and their parents to a Wembley playoff final. We’ve delivered kit to clubs and schools. And we’re just getting started.

Proof of concept
What we’ve already done.

WEMBLEY FOR 100
We took 100 children and their parents to a 2025/26 playoff final at Wembley Stadium — an experience that would have been out of reach for most of those families.

GUIDING CLUBS
We advise and guide sports clubs on how to build strong, inclusive policies — from bursary provision to storage and safeguarding practice.

KIT TO CLUBS
We’ve delivered donated kit and equipment to local sports clubs, ensuring young people can participate without cost being a barrier on day one.

KIT TO SCHOOLS Schools have received kit through Sports Bank — from PE essentials to sport-specific equipment — supporting children who arrive without the right gear.
