Michael’s many achievements include establishing Rackets Cubed, which combines education in science, technology, and maths with racket sports for inner-city youngsters.

On the menu at Rackets Cubed – which reaches 1,000 children each week at 20 locations including the National Tennis Centre – is an hour of STEM education twinned with an hour of squash or tennis, plus an evening meal. The programme is backed by partners including the Lawn Tennis Association, England Squash, and the PSA World Tour.

Prior to launching Rackets Cubed back in 2016, Michael enjoyed a stellar career in banking with Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, and Barclays, and then as an investor in healthcare tech firms, including Oxehealth – which enables nurses to check on the well-being of mental health patients without disturbing their sleep – and workforce health management system FirstCare.

Michael’s interests include artificial intelligence and machine learning and their commercialisation. He holds a degree in Engineering Science from Oxford and MBA from INSEAD, France.
