Brown Girl Sport recently celebrated its third anniversary  at Stamford Bridge, bringing together athletes, fans and partners to mark the growth of the award-winning community platform. Founded by journalist Miriam Walker-Khan, Brown Girl Sport highlights the stories of South Asian women and girls in sport and works to challenge stereotypes and barriers to participation. The organisation, which began as an Instagram account, has grown into a national community and advocacy platform. The anniversary event also saw the announcement of new initiatives, including an ambassador programme and a supporters’ club for women of colour in partnership with Chelsea Women, signalling the next phase of its development and impact.
