A major new Sport for Peace programme has been launched at the Belfast New Sports Complex, marking the start of a four-year cross-border initiative using sport to promote inclusion and positive community relations across nine counties. Supported by the PEACE PLUS programme, the project is led by Ulster GAA alongside the FAI, Ulster Rugby and the IFA. More than 6,000 participants will be engaged through 96 schools and 80 sports clubs across 14 council areas, with a strong focus on sustained participation, leadership, volunteering and long-term community connections.
